Kennebec Well Drilling

We are a father-and-son team committed to providing outstanding service and treating every client—and every property—with respect. From our Wiscasset location, we serve residential and commercial clients within a 100-mile radius of Farmingdale, Maine. Because every client has different water needs, we take time to listen, explain the available options, and answer questions. We approach each project as if it were our own, from start to finish.

Ted Rolfe began working in well drilling in 1980 and has experience in every part of the process, from meeting with clients to drilling wells and installing pumps. He is a licensed master well driller and master pump installer and holds a closed-loop geothermal license. Ted is also certified in erosion control through the State of Maine and through the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association. He belongs to the Maine Ground Water Association, where he served two terms as president, and the National Ground Water Association.

Noah Rolfe began accompanying his father to work as a child and has worked in the field since he was 15. He is a journeyman well driller, a director of the Maine Ground Water Association, and a member of the National Ground Water Association. He brings energy, ambition, courtesy, and pride in a job well done to every project.

We are fully insured and provide complete well drilling services, including water-well installation, pump installation and repair, geothermal drilling, water testing, and well abandonment. Our goal is to provide clean, safe, and dependable water while making the well process easier to understand. We use high-quality products and follow current industry codes and State of Maine standards. Whether we are drilling a well, installing a stainless-steel submersible pump, testing water, or preparing geothermal bores and loops, we work carefully to help each project proceed smoothly.
