Kapala Heating & Air Conditioning

Since opening our doors in 1978, we’ve grown through countless customer referrals while staying focused on what matters most: safe, comfortable buildings and dependable customer care. With more than 40 years of experience serving the Lapeer area and beyond, our trained and certified professionals design, install, maintain, and repair nearly all brands and types of HVAC equipment. We serve Almont, Columbiaville, Hadley, Imlay City, Lake Orion, Lapeer, Metamora, North Branch, Oxford, and surrounding communities.

We help homeowners improve comfort, HVAC performance, and energy efficiency through practical heating and cooling solutions. Our maintenance work includes inspecting and cleaning systems to help prevent unexpected repairs. When airflow is a concern, we can test the air coming from each vent, adjust dampers to redirect air volume, and locate and seal leaks, tears, or disconnections in ductwork. Repairing damaged ducts and sealing cracks can improve airflow throughout a home and boost HVAC system efficiency.

We also install HVAC zoning systems in ducted heating and cooling systems throughout Lapeer and neighboring communities. Zoning makes it possible to customize comfort from room to room, floor to floor, or according to another zone arrangement in the home. We assess the home’s layout, comfort preferences, and energy-saving goals, then design a zoning solution for those needs. The system uses motorized dampers in existing ductwork that open or close according to the cooling required in each zone. For commercial customers in Metamora and the Lapeer County area, we provide HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance to help keep buildings safe and comfortable.
