Jones Well Drilling

Our roots in Harford County date to 1965, when the late Earl Jones founded Jones Well Drilling. Certified Master Well Driller Dave Kelly has spent 47 years with us, beginning as our first employee. He later served as Vice President and Operations Manager for 23 years before becoming the owner. Today, David M. Kelly, LLC does business as Jones Well Drilling from our location in Jarrettsville, Maryland.

We bring professional experience and dedication to projects for homeowners, land developers, environmental firms, HVAC contractors, engineers, and government agencies. Our services include drilling for water wells, geothermal systems, and environmental projects, along with pump systems, water conditioning, and water filtration installation and service. We also diagnose well-system issues and assist with the repair and maintenance of systems of all sizes. Our drillers and support staff continue their training and maintain certifications to strengthen the technical knowledge they bring to each project.

We are licensed, bonded, and insured in Maryland and Pennsylvania for water well drilling, pump installation, and water conditioning. Our qualifications include Certified NGWA Well Driller and Pump Installer credentials, CWD and CPI, as well as certification through the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association. We are also certified Geothermal Service Contractors through WaterFurnace. For geothermal projects, we work with homeowners and HVAC contractors to design and construct systems suited to their needs. We also install and service traditional submersible pumps and constant pressure variable-speed systems, which are designed to maintain steady water pressure in the home.
