Intermountain Heating and Air Conditioning

We were founded in 1994 by Brian and Debbie Patzer with a clear mission: to provide outstanding HVAC products and service to Helena and the surrounding communities. Their son, Keven, was involved from the beginning, learning the trade and growing from an installer into a leadership role. When Brian and Debbie retired at the end of 2016, Keven and his wife, Heather, took over our general operations. Today, we remain committed to the professionalism, customer service, and openness to new heating and cooling technology that have shaped us from the start.

Our trained team provides HVAC sales, installation, service, and repair for residential and commercial projects. We work with a wide range of heating and cooling equipment, including energy-efficient systems, and we continue to build our knowledge through ongoing professional training. We are the only Trane dealer in the Helena area, and we also offer systems from Honeywell, Mitsubishi, Gensco, and WaterFurnace Geothermal Heat Pumps. Whether we are helping with existing equipment, planning a new construction system, or working on a large commercial project, our goal is to match the right equipment to each project’s comfort needs.

As a family-owned operation, our connection to the Helena community is important to us. Keven works closely with builders on new construction proposals and large commercial projects while supporting local 4-H, the Helena Big Horns, and other youth and sports activities. Heather brings 11 years of local banking experience and a bachelor’s degree in business management and administration. She is involved with the Helena Exchange Club, serves on the Helena Building Industry Association board, and is secretary for the Lewis and Clark Mule Deer Foundation. Together with our dedicated staff, we are proud to continue serving our community with friendly, professional HVAC care.
