Holy City Heating & Air, LLC

Our story began in 1999, when Tom Harvey started as an HVAC helper and learned the trade from the bottom rung. After years of running an earlier shop, he started again in 2015 with a beat-up truck, a bag of tools, and the conviction that Charleston deserved better service. That fresh start became Holy City Heating & Air. Tom was born and raised on James Island, where he still lives with his wife, Jennifer, and their three children, Ethan, Carolina, and Arabella. Our family remains active in the local community and in our daily operations, making us a family business in the most literal sense.

We have grown into a team of seasoned local professionals, with a wrapped fleet that Charleston drivers may recognize on the Crosstown. We have also been recognized in the top quarter of the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies. Through that growth, our priorities have remained straightforward: we answer the phone until 9 PM, explain what we find in plain language, and focus on earning a long-term relationship rather than creating one oversized invoice. We favor honest recommendations and lasting comfort over high-pressure sales, and we provide a written estimate before repair work begins.

We serve Charleston and the surrounding Lowcountry, including North Charleston, West Ashley, Mt. Pleasant, Summerville, Goose Creek, and the sea islands from Daniel Island to Edisto. Our work includes air conditioning repair and installation, heating, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, indoor air quality, plumbing, water heaters, and whole-system maintenance plans. We also handle commercial air conditioning and heating, Daikin VRV multi-zone systems, server-room cooling, geothermal, and maintenance planned around business hours. Based at 238 East Bay St, Charleston, SC 29401—in the heart of the city we are named for—we operate under South Carolina license M113404. To reach us, call (843) 790-6504.
