Hinrichsen Htg & A/C

Our roots in Central Illinois go back to 1987, when Bruce Hinrichsen led our team with decades of industry experience and a commitment to superior HVAC service. His son, Mitch, joined our family operation in 2003, beginning in the sheet-metal shop before moving into installation and service. After Bruce passed away in 2014, Mitch stepped into leadership with the same passion, determination, and values. What began as a partnership grew into a ten-employee corporation serving Greater Peoria and surrounding Central Illinois communities from our home in Goodfield.

Geothermal is central to what we do. We are one of the nation’s largest WaterFurnace dealers, with more than 1,000 geothermal systems installed since 1987. Our IGSHPA-accredited installers handle the complete process in-house, including system design, loop installation, service, and maintenance. When a geothermal system is not performing properly, we take a thorough diagnostic approach rather than replacing parts without knowing the cause. We use specialized gauges to check loop pressures, evaluate the specific gravity of the antifreeze mixture, test ECM motor voltages, and inspect the coaxial heat exchanger for mineral scale that can restrict heat transfer.

Our fully trained and licensed installation crew works with the latest tools and techniques, while our certified professionals service all makes and models for homes and businesses. We specialize in high-quality HVAC installations and repairs, and we have earned Daikin’s top dealer credential, reflecting factory-trained installation, the Daikin Comfort Promise, and 12-year protection on select systems. Technicians are also on call during weeknight evenings and Saturdays.

Before you commit to a repair or replacement, we welcome the opportunity to take a careful look. We will tell you honestly whether a quote is fair, whether the proposed equipment fits your home, and whether a repair may be enough—even when that means less work for us.
