High Mountain Heating & Air

We’re a family-owned and operated HVAC team serving homeowners, property managers, and commercial properties in Missoula. Our goal is straightforward: to help keep indoor spaces cool in the summer and cozy in the winter with professional heating, cooling, ventilation, and duct services. With Mission Heating & Air now part of the High Mountain family, our Polson branch also serves Lake and Sanders counties. Like us, Mission Heating & Air was family-run and built around pride in its work, community involvement, and honest, trustworthy service.

We provide HVAC repair, maintenance, installation, and retrofitting. Our tools and training prepare us to work with boilers, heat pumps, air-conditioning units, fans, and ventilation equipment. Whether an AC system needs attention, an older heat pump is ready for an upgrade, or a new construction project calls for a mini-split, we can assess the job and complete the needed work. We also install ductless systems that can improve airflow in individual rooms.

Older HVAC equipment may struggle to keep an entire home or building comfortable. Our retrofitting services bring those systems up to date with modern equipment for residential or commercial properties. We’ll examine the equipment currently in use and recommend a suitable replacement, with the aim of improving comfort and potentially lowering monthly HVAC costs. Our installation work covers the process from selecting an appropriate system through putting the new equipment in place, whether the project involves air conditioning, a furnace, a heat pump, or a ductless setup. At our Polson branch, we are a Montana Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Contractor as well as a Trane and Daikin dealer.
