Hi-Tech, Inc.

Our story began in 2007, when Doug Walter Jr. took a leap of faith and founded Hi-Tech Heating & Cooling around family-oriented values and meticulous attention to detail. Drawing on more than 15 years of experience and relationships with local families, we grew into a trusted home-comfort partner for thousands of residents in Highland, Milford, and surrounding communities. Today, we remain family-owned and operated, with a client-focused approach that guides every stage of our work.

We provide heating and air-conditioning installation, repair, maintenance, and replacement services. Our team is trained to work with multiple types of equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, geothermal systems, boilers, high-velocity and mini-split systems, radiant heating, humidification systems, indoor-air-quality solutions, hybrid HVAC systems, and residential hot-water equipment. We install and service Bosch high-efficiency furnaces and geothermal heat pumps, and we perform detailed Manual J load calculations to help tailor each system to the home’s comfort needs, budget, and technical requirements. We also offer geothermal repair, maintenance, and installation in Highland, Milford, Waterford, White Lake, Commerce, and surrounding areas.

We respect both your time and your home. Our technicians are committed to arriving promptly, communicating clearly, and completing each project efficiently without sacrificing the quality of their work. We use mats, tarps, and shoe booties to protect flooring and furnishings, and we treat every property as carefully as we would our own. Our work is never subcontracted, allowing us to maintain direct responsibility for workmanship and project follow-through. By seeking competitive pricing on materials and equipment, we also work to provide practical, affordable options while preserving quality. Whether you need routine maintenance, emergency heating or cooling repairs, a replacement system, or guidance on geothermal technology, we put your needs first and provide recommendations shaped around your home.
