Hauser Bros., Inc.

We began in 1953 in the Rockland County hamlets of Orangetown and incorporated in New York in 1957. Our roots reach back to Edward C. Hauser Sr., who opened a plumbing business in Tappan in 1915 and passed his knowledge of plumbing and pipefitting to his sons. Our three founding brothers initially operated from the front porch of Charles E. “Chick” Hauser’s home, storing equipment and trucks in the backyard. As our business grew, we moved into a storefront and converted a nearby horse barn into a workshop. In the 1970s, we acquired part of the historic Orangeburg Pipe Factory before moving to our present facility on Old Schoolhouse Lane. Today, our third generation continues the work established by our founders.

We provide plumbing, heating, cooling, piping, and welding services. Our experience includes work for schools, hospitals, power plants, pharmaceutical plants, sewage treatment plants, pump stations, utilities, and other commercial and institutional facilities. Over time, we expanded into specialized services such as power piping and hot welds. Our project history includes plumbing work at the Bowline Power Plant, plumbing, heating, and piping services for Pascack Valley Regional High School and the Hackensack Water Company, and participation in constructing the Oceanography and Chemistry Buildings at Columbia University’s Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory.

We approach our work with an emphasis on trade expertise, workmanship, dependable customer service, and long-term client relationships. Repeat work from plant engineers, architects, general contractors, and corporate clients has remained an important part of our business. From our Orangeburg base, we serve the tri-state area, with a geographic focus that includes Rockland and Orange Counties in New York’s Hudson Valley, Westchester County, New York City, and Bergen County in New Jersey. As we continue to develop our capabilities, we remain committed to the plumbing, heating, piping, cooling, and welding trades on which our company was built.
