Global Commercial HVAC Services check-square-o leaf fire info thumbs-up bubble

We design and install commercial and institutional geothermal HVAC systems, including vertical, horizontal, and pond/lake configurations. For more than 20 years, we have overseen hundreds of large projects from initial planning and system design through installation and completion. Our work includes the majority of commercial and institutional geothermal projects in the Chicago area, along with numerous projects elsewhere in the United States. Our structure also allows us to provide design and installation across the globe without being limited by geographic location or labor agreements.

Every geothermal HVAC project depends on careful evaluation and coordination. We assess heating and cooling loads, thermal conductivity and diffusivity, the appropriate installation method, loop design and sizing, equipment sizing, and the sizing and installation of the distribution system. Closed-loop systems are designed around seasonal cycling, making sound design essential to proper operation. We also work with hybrid systems that combine geothermal with chillers and boilers, an approach frequently used to reduce installation costs.

Our experience spans schools, colleges, libraries, laboratories, public buildings, healthcare facilities, parks, and industrial properties. Projects have included a 700-ton system at the University of Missouri S&T, Sherman Hospital, Fermilab, Argonne National Laboratory, UIC College of Medicine in Rockford, College of DuPage, Joliet Junior College, Gail Borden Library, Geneva Library, the 12th District Police Department in Chicago, Engine Company 16 Fire Station, Iowa State Penitentiary in Fort Madison, and the Radio Flyer factory in Chicago. From complex institutional campuses to individual civic and commercial facilities, we bring decades of project oversight to each geothermal system we design and install.
