Geo Tech Heating and Cooling

We’re a family-owned heating and cooling team founded by John and Diane Schlorke in 2008. From our location on Mason Road in Lynn, Michigan, we serve St. Clair, Lapeer, and Sanilac counties and surrounding areas. Our story began with John working from his truck with a set of tools while Diane handled scheduling, advertising, and marketing. A loan from John’s father helped us purchase our first dependable work van, and John repaid that loan before paying himself. We built our shop in 2009 and added a new office building in 2017, creating dedicated space for preparing quotes, managing schedules, and maintaining customer portfolios.

Geothermal was our original focus, and it remains an important part of our work. Our employees receive extensive training in how geothermal systems operate, supporting knowledgeable installation and service. We have also expanded to include the installation and repair of other heating and cooling systems and water heaters. Our facilities include a ductwork fabrication shop, and our fleet of vans, trucks, and trailers helps us stay prepared for the work our customers need.

Customer service shapes how we approach every visit. As a small team, we can often send the same service technician to a customer each year for an annual clean and check. We also offer 24-hour emergency service when an unexpected heating problem occurs. Our goal is to give every customer the time and quality they expect while maintaining high standards of courtesy.

We treat every installation as a reflection of our name. For geothermal work, we check that the system meets applicable codes, operates properly, and has a clean, professional appearance. We bring that same attention to the other heating and cooling equipment and water heaters we install. Whether we’re installing new equipment or servicing an existing system, we want the finished work to demonstrate the care we bring to our customers and their homes.
