Gene's Refrigeration, Heating & Air Conditioning, Plumbing & Electrical

We’ve been helping homeowners and businesses stay comfortable since Ralph “Gene” Tolliver founded Gene’s Refrigeration Heating & Air Conditioning, Plumbing & Electrical from his home in 1959. Today, we remain family-owned and operated, carrying on Gene’s legacy in Medina and the surrounding Northeast Ohio area. We’re proud to be Medina-made, BBB accredited, and Carrier Factory Authorized.

Our team provides heating, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, indoor air quality, and commercial refrigeration services. For homes, we handle furnace and heat pump service, AC repair, maintenance and installation, central air systems, ductless mini-splits, plumbing problems, water heater leaks, electrical upgrades, ceiling fan installation, surge protection, and more. We can also help improve indoor air quality with whole-home air purifiers, UV lights, and humidity control. For businesses, we service HVAC and plumbing systems as well as commercial refrigeration equipment, including walk-in coolers and refrigerated display cases. Our maintenance services include inspections, filter replacements, performance checks, and other work intended to reduce unexpected equipment problems.

We know heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration issues do not always happen during regular hours, so we offer 24/7 emergency service. Our highly skilled, vetted, and professionally trained technicians, plumbers, and electricians arrive on time and in uniform, ready to diagnose the issue, explain the recommended solution, and complete the work. Our professionals are certified, licensed, and experienced, and our heating technicians are licensed and insured.

We believe dependable service should come with clear expectations. That is why we offer transparent, affordable pricing, along with financing options on approved credit. Whether you need a repair, routine maintenance, or a system upgrade, we focus on quality workmanship, personalized solutions, and year-round comfort. Our work is backed by a 100% satisfaction guarantee, and if you are not satisfied, we will make it right.
