About Freeman Well Drilling
Our roots go back approximately 50 years, when M.B. (Bob) Freeman and his wife, Ethel, started Freeman Well Drilling. They ran our family operation for many years while one or more of their sons learned the trade alongside them. Today, we are operated by Tony Freeman and Nate Marlett, and we continue to strive to provide the best service for each situation our customers bring to us.
We drill wells ranging from 4 to 12 inches for residential, commercial, municipal, environmental, business, irrigation, exploratory, and testing needs. We also provide geothermal heat-loop drilling for residential and commercial projects. We are IGSHPA and State of Minnesota Certified Geothermal Drillers and Installers. Our other well services include screen changes, well sealing and abandonment, water sampling, well reconditioning, and year-round drilling.
We install, service, and repair pumping systems, including constant-pressure and in-well tank systems. We are the area’s authorized, factory-trained Water-Pro dealer and installer for Grundfos all-stainless-steel pumps. Grundfos provides a five-year warranty on its ½- to 1½-horsepower single-phase pumps, Grundfos SP, SQ, and SQE motors, and Grundfos controls. We offer free estimates for our drilling and pumping services.
From our location at 6268 48th Ave NW in Walker, Minnesota, we serve customers within 75 miles of Walker, including the Walker, Bemidji, Park Rapids, Cass Lake, Hackensack, Akeley, Pine River, and Longville areas. Whether you need a new well, geothermal heat-loop drilling, a pumping system, or service for an existing well or pump, we welcome the opportunity to learn about your needs and discuss the work involved.
