About Frank's Well Drilling
Our roots in well drilling go back to 1953, when Frank’s Well Drilling was founded. We incorporated in 1967, began with an office in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, and opened another office in La Plata in Charles County in 1977. In 1990, we purchased King George Drilling Service, which was founded in King George, Virginia, in 1976 and later relocated to Westmoreland County. Today, King George Drilling Service operates as a division of Frank’s Well Drilling.
We provide residential and commercial artesian well drilling, well pump installation and service, water-yield testing, water sampling, artesian well abandonment, and down-the-well camera troubleshooting. We also install and service geothermal ground loops. Our work serves Southern Maryland and Virginia’s Northern Neck, including the King George, Caroline, Stafford, Richmond, Westmoreland, and Essex areas. Over the years, we have drilled thousands of wells using modern drilling and support equipment and materials selected for the demands of the industry.
We are family owned and operated by Robert B. Frank, Michael G. Frank, Kenneth M. Frank, and Kevin M. Frank, Sr. Kenneth M. Frank, Jr., a third-generation well driller, manages the day-to-day operations of our King George division. We are licensed in Virginia, fully licensed, bonded, and insured, and certified by the National Groundwater Association as a Well Driller and Pump Installer.
Our reputation has grown through a commitment to workmanship and service. Whether we are drilling a new artesian well, servicing a pump, testing water yield, troubleshooting with a down-the-well camera, or installing a geothermal ground loop, we bring experienced people, capable equipment, and quality materials to the work. We guarantee our materials and labor on new well construction for five years.
