Field Plumbing & Heating Inc

Our roots in Southwest Michigan go back to 1961, when Raymond Field founded Field Plumbing & Heating with a commitment to creating healthy homes and happy customers. His son, Ken Field, later took the reins and expanded the services we provide. Today, Ken works alongside his daughter, Sarah Preston, continuing our family-owned tradition through three generations. For more than 60 years, we have served residential and commercial clients in Lawrence and communities across Van Buren, Berrien, and surrounding counties, including Paw Paw, South Haven, Coloma, Hartford, Mattawan, Decatur, and nearby lakeshore communities.

We provide plumbing, heating, and cooling services for homes and businesses. Whether a customer needs a plumbing repair, replacement piping, air-conditioning service, or a new central air conditioner, our knowledgeable technicians focus on doing the work properly and helping restore comfort. As a certified Trane Comfort Specialist, we sell and install high-efficiency central air-conditioning systems selected for each home’s square footage and budget. We also repair and service all major air-conditioning brands. For urgent plumbing problems such as burst pipes and broken water heaters, we offer 24/7 emergency plumbing service throughout Coloma and northern Berrien County.

Clear communication is central to how we serve our customers. We know homeowners and business owners can be left unsure about what work was needed, what was completed, or why it mattered. Our goal is to explain those details so our customers can make informed decisions that are right for their families or organizations.

We are equally committed to building the next generation of skilled tradespeople. Our paid, nationally accredited four-year apprenticeship program prepares future journeymen while helping participants earn certifications in plumbing, heating, and cooling. By investing in our teammates and assembling a trained, capable team, we strive to create a rewarding workplace, strengthen our community, and provide value beyond what our customers expect.
