F.F. Hitchcock Co., Inc.

We are F.F. Hitchcock Co., Inc., a family-owned and operated home-services company based in Cheshire, Connecticut. Since 1870, we have helped homeowners care for the essential systems that keep their properties comfortable and working properly. Our team provides heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical, roofing, solar, and energy-efficiency services, along with heating-oil and propane delivery.

For homeowners considering alternatives to conventional heating and cooling, we provide geothermal and air-source heat-pump services. Geothermal systems use the relatively stable temperature below ground to support indoor heating and cooling. We can help with geothermal heat-pump installation as well as geothermal cooling needs, while also offering central air conditioning, ductless systems, air handlers, humidity-control solutions, and other HVAC services. Our broad range of capabilities allows us to look at comfort needs alongside related home systems rather than treating every concern in isolation.

We provide both installation and repair services, with onsite service and online estimate options available. Our technicians and office staff are prepared to help customers understand their needs and identify an appropriate next step. We also offer 24/7 emergency service when an urgent home-service issue arises.

From our Cheshire location, we serve local homeowners and surrounding communities with practical support across multiple trades. Whether a customer is exploring a geothermal heat pump, needs heating or cooling service, or is coordinating plumbing or electrical work, we aim to provide a clear, dependable point of contact. Homeowners can contact our team to discuss their property, comfort priorities, and the service options that may fit their situation.
