Engineered Comfort Inc.

At Engineered Comfort, Inc., we design and build HVAC and insulation solutions for high-end custom homes. Our mission is to change the conversation around residential energy use and conservation by creating indoor environments that are efficient, comfortable, and healthy. We believe that merely meeting code means settling for the lowest standard legally allowed, so we have worked to exceed local building codes since 2001.

Our HVAC systems are designed by a licensed mechanical engineer, and we monitor and manage installation to keep construction aligned with the design and specifications. As a project nears completion, we use blower-door testing, visual inspection, and thermal imaging to evaluate whether those standards have been met. We provide full-scale conventional HVAC installation, including Trane equipment for new construction and replacement projects, with single-speed, two-speed, and variable-speed options. We also install ductless mini-split systems when they are suited to a home’s environmental needs. For geothermal projects, we install WaterFurnace systems.

Our involvement can continue after construction through service, repair, and regular maintenance. We service all makes of residential air-conditioning systems, whether or not we installed the original equipment. Our Equipment and Efficiency Maintenance Program is designed to help clients keep their systems operating effectively and reduce downtime associated with equipment failure. Maintenance-contract clients receive discounted service rates and access to weekend and after-hours service availability.

We are based at 7405 Cumberland Drive in Fairview, Tennessee, and serve clients Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. To speak with us about HVAC, insulation, geothermal, ductless, repair, or maintenance needs, call 615-266-2012.
