EnergySmart Alternatives, LLC

We design and install custom residential and small commercial geothermal systems throughout Massachusetts. Our work serves homeowners and businesses seeking geothermal heating, cooling, and hot water systems for new construction, retrofits, and replacements of existing heating systems. We also work with builders and architects planning geothermal systems for their projects. Our geographic focus is the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, where we account for local geology, permitting requirements, and New England climate conditions.

We manage geothermal projects from initial review through installation and system optimization. Our process begins with an online prequalification questionnaire, followed by a project review by phone or email. If a project is prequalified, we schedule a site evaluation, assess the property, and provide a detailed proposal. After approval, we handle system design and permitting in-house. We coordinate drilling and install the ground loops, heat pumps, and related system components. We also complete applicable rebate and incentive paperwork.

Our geothermal systems are designed to provide heating and cooling, with hot water available as part of the system. We work on projects involving homeowners replacing oil heat, builders developing new homes, existing-building retrofits, and small commercial properties. Our team coordinates the full installation process so that design, permitting, drilling, equipment installation, and final optimization are managed as connected phases of the same project. We also provide information about how geothermal works, the installation process, and available tax credits and rebates. Property owners interested in working with us can begin by completing our online prequalification form for a geothermal consultation.
