East Wichita Well & Pump Service LLC

Our family roots in water well drilling go back to when Don Weninger began drilling domestic and large irrigation wells in Wichita as Weninger Irrigation. For a time, Don worked alongside his brother Jerome. Don continued drilling wells and installing agricultural pumps in the Wichita area until his death, while Jerome and his sons carried the family’s well-drilling tradition forward through Weninger Drilling.

We later fixed up Don’s old rig and drilled twenty irrigation wells during our first year. Our work eventually expanded to include well drilling, repairs, and pump service in the Wichita area, and Weninger Irrigation became Premier Pump and Well Service. After running Premier, we transferred ownership to two longtime employees, Jerad and Allen Stroot. We then started East Wichita Well & Pump Service to drill with an air rig in rocky formations where a mud rig can face challenges.

Today, we bring practical knowledge of geology and hydrology to our work. We drill commercial, residential, irrigation, livestock, and windmill water wells, along with low-carbon-footprint geothermal wells. Our services also include water-pump and water-line installation, equipment maintenance, well repair, water testing, well abandonment, solar pumps, and pond fountain aerator sales and service. Our water wells produce natural, unprocessed raw water, and our goal is to help customers access clean, safe, and reliable natural resources. We believe in doing what we say we will do, taking pride in doing the job well, and enjoying the work we do. We are owned by Curtis Weniger and based in Maize, Kansas.
