E H Roberts

Our roots go back to a vision E.H. Roberts formed during the 1930s. On exceptionally cold winter days, he would visit his uncle and the farmers gathered at Gorman’s Grocery store, where a pot-bellied stove offered a warm refuge from the weather. As he listened to their stories and drifted to sleep on his uncle’s lap, E.H. began dreaming of a way to help people enjoy that same sense of comfort in their homes and businesses. He established E.H. Roberts Co. in 1955, and the “Rocking Man” was born. That image still stands on our building at 2312 N Ridge Rd in Elyria.

Today, we remain committed to the comfort of homes and businesses in Elyria and the surrounding areas. Led by our president, Jenny Prelipp, and our general manager, Todd Tomes, we carry forward our tradition of quality service and attentive customer care. We are local and woman-owned, with experience in residential and commercial work. As a Bryant Authorized Dealer, we offer a range of HVAC products and services, and we also sell and service other types of equipment.

Our work includes heating and air-conditioning repair, maintenance, and installation, along with duct cleaning. We also repair, replace, and install traditional hot water tanks and tankless water heaters. When a hot water tank is not providing the water a customer needs, we can inspect it and determine whether repair or replacement is appropriate. Our technicians stay current with industry advancements and perform repairs, installation, and maintenance for tankless systems. In addition, our plumbing services include repair and replacement involving faucets, shower and tub fixtures, toilets, drains, sillcocks, garbage disposals, sump pumps, and more. Across all of these services, we strive for complete customer satisfaction while helping people keep their spaces comfortable throughout the year.
