For two generations, our family-owned team has helped people in Ionia County and surrounding areas access clean water and keep their well systems working effectively. Based at 727 Knoll Road in Portland, Michigan, we bring more than 50 years of water well drilling and repair experience to residential, commercial, irrigation, and agricultural needs. We drill new wells, specializing in 5-inch wells while offering sizes from 4 to 6 inches, and we provide 24/7 emergency service for 2-inch through 6-inch well systems.

Our work covers the full well system. We repair existing wells, install pumps, tanks, and other well products, and conduct inspections that include pump testing and a diagnostic of the entire system. We also perform real estate well inspections for buyers and sellers, along with water testing for customers using wells or municipal water. Our maintenance services include waterline trenching, well abandonment using bentonite grout in accordance with Michigan EGLE requirements and applicable Michigan codes, and 2-inch well screen cleaning. When rust, mineral buildup, or other debris reduces pressure or volume in a deep or shallow jet-pump well, we can clean the screen to help restore water flow. We can also trench new waterlines from an existing line to another location, including a yard hydrant or garden.

We also install geothermal loops for homes, businesses, and agricultural locations. Our geothermal work includes vertical and horizontal closed-loop installations, along with drain lines and return wells for open-loop systems. Whether we are drilling a new water well, diagnosing a problem, maintaining an existing system, or placing geothermal loops, we draw on decades of drilling experience and a family tradition carried from one generation to the next.
