Design Flow Heating & Cooling LLC

We are Design Flow Heating & Cooling, rooted in Eldersburg, where our owner and operator, Brian Phillips, was born and raised. Brian began his HVAC career in 2001 with a small team in Mount Airy, learning the residential side of the trade before moving into commercial HVAC and Building Automation Systems. After years of building that experience, he founded Design Flow Heating & Cooling in 2016. Today, our team brings more than 30 years of combined experience to heating and cooling work.

We built Design Flow around honesty, integrity, and a commitment to stand behind our work. We know that projects do not always unfold exactly as expected. Parts or equipment can arrive faulty, and circumstances outside anyone’s control can affect a job. What matters is how we respond. We do everything in our power to make things right, and we offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee on every job. For us, HVAC service is also about creating lasting relationships, listening carefully, and solving the problems our customers face. The lesson “If it is worth doing, it is worth doing right” continues to guide how we approach our work and treat the people who rely on us.

Our knowledgeable team provides quality heating and cooling service and installation, including geothermal support. As a WaterFurnace GEOPRO Master Dealer, we specialize exclusively in vertical geothermal loops. We can help with system planning, measurements, installation, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance. Our team trains regularly to keep pace with current HVAC technology and techniques, and we can diagnose and repair systems even when we did not install them. For geothermal systems, we can inspect electrical connections, internal components, refrigerant levels, heat exchangers, blowers, filters, and air ducts. We also offer 24/7 emergency geothermal heat pump repair. Throughout every project, our focus remains the same: dependable guidance, practical solutions, and work completed with care.
