DeHart Air Conditioning

Our roots in Chickasha go back to 1920, when Ed DeHart founded DeHart Sheet Metal Works. In those early years, we became the first automated sheet metal fabrication shop in the Southwestern United States. Ed’s son Elmer joined the family operation in 1949, and our name changed to DeHart Air Conditioning and Electronics as we focused on the HVAC industry. We moved into our current Chickasha location in 1965. Mark DeHart joined in 1976 and expanded our work into commercial HVAC and geothermal systems. Today, Mark’s sons, Seth and John, are co-owners of our fourth-generation, family-owned operation, which now also has a location in Duncan.

With a team of more than 25 people, we serve homeowners and commercial property owners with heating, air conditioning, ductwork, and indoor air quality solutions. Our services include system repair, maintenance, replacement, and installation for new construction. We also work with geothermal systems, variable refrigerant flow systems, gas log fireplaces, radiant floor heating, Mitsubishi Electric ductless mini-split heat pumps, and Kohler portable and home generators. For indoor air quality needs, we offer air filtration, air purification, and humidity control.

Our commercial capabilities include HVAC replacement as well as new ductwork and system design. We also have experience designing and installing specialty systems used in industrial construction. For homeowners interested in geothermal heating and cooling, we install energy-efficient ClimateMaster geothermal heat pumps and can explain the available technology and ClimateMaster cost-savings calculator. Whether we are helping with an existing system or planning HVAC for a new home or commercial property, we bring generations of practical experience to the work. Our Chickasha location is at 1201 South 4th Street, and we can be reached at 405-224-0184.
