Day Heating & Cooling

We have served residential and commercial customers in the Salem and Corvallis areas since 1935. Over that time, we have worked on heating and cooling systems for homes, businesses, new construction, and existing buildings. Our approach is to provide a straightforward assessment of each customer’s equipment. When repair is the appropriate option, we can make the repair; when replacing the system may better meet the customer’s needs, we can discuss that option instead. We also place importance on system design, installation workmanship, and standing behind the products and services we provide.

For residential new construction, we install gas furnaces, heat pumps, ductless heat pumps, filtration products, duct systems, hot water tanks, and geothermal systems. Our commercial new-construction work includes high-efficiency HVAC equipment, zoned systems, tenant improvements, air conditioning, and energy analysis. We also complete residential and commercial retrofit projects, including energy upgrades, furnace replacements, air-conditioning additions, filtration additions, duct modifications, equipment change-outs, propane conversions, gas-line installation for appliances, heat-pump upgrades, and wall-heater projects.

We troubleshoot filtration and ventilation concerns involving odors, smoke, high humidity, particulate filtration, and gas-phase filtration. Our work also includes commercial tenant improvements and emergency residential and commercial HVAC service using radio-dispatched service trucks for urgent repairs. With service contacts in Salem and Corvallis, we focus our heating and cooling work on these Oregon communities and the surrounding area. Across our services, we aim to be upfront about available options, complete the work carefully, and address concerns if a customer is not satisfied.
