Davidson Well Drilling

We are a family-owned and operated well drilling business serving Northeast Georgia and Western South Carolina since 1973. Based in Turnerville, Georgia, we help provide the clean, dependable water that homes and commercial properties need. Our customers are also our neighbors, friends, and family, so we strive to provide attentive service and solutions suited to each property. We are licensed in Georgia and South Carolina, fully insured, and members of our local Home Builders Associations.

Our well services include six-inch drilled water wells, complete water well systems, residential and commercial well systems, pump sales and service, hydro-fracturing, trenching, excavating, and well abandonment. We install casing to bedrock on our fresh water wells, typically about 70 to 100 feet in surrounding areas. We are also certified to install and service submersible pumps, and we carry, install, and service pumps from Franklin Electric.

When an existing well is underperforming or has stopped producing, drilling a new well may not always be necessary. We offer hydro-fracturing as a possible way to regenerate an underperforming well. Our process uses clean water without additives. We also install vertical geothermal ground-loop systems designed to support efficient heat transfer for heating and cooling systems. Barry Davidson is certified by Baroid Industrial Drilling Products for this specialized work. Our geothermal services are limited to drilling and the down-hole installation of the ground loop and transfer medium, and we can coordinate with a geothermal or heating and air contractor to complete the overall system.
