D & K Heating & A/C Service, Inc.

We’ve served the Omaha–Council Bluffs metropolitan area since Dick and Karen Kudlacek founded D & K Heating & Cooling in 1977. From our location at 14334 Industrial Road in Omaha, we help homeowners and businesses maintain comfortable indoor environments through dependable heating and air-conditioning services. Our highly trained, experienced technicians take the time to understand each customer’s comfort needs and recommend solutions suited to the property and budget. As a Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer, we offer a comprehensive selection of high-efficiency heating and cooling equipment.

Our air-conditioning services include maintenance, tune-ups, repairs, new installations, and system replacements. We provide 24/7 emergency AC repair in Omaha and are equipped to address problems ranging from minor issues to complex system failures. When installing or replacing equipment, we assess factors such as the size of the space, insulation, efficiency ratings, smart-technology options, and refrigerant type. Proper sizing and installation are central to helping each system perform efficiently. We also believe customers deserve clear information, so we provide upfront communication and transparent pricing to help them make informed decisions.

We install and maintain geothermal heating and cooling systems as well. Our process begins with a detailed site evaluation that considers the property’s soil conditions, geology, available land, ductwork, electrical infrastructure, and heating and cooling requirements. We use those findings to design the ground-loop configuration and determine what upgrades may be needed. After installing the loop field and indoor heat-pump equipment, we complete the necessary refrigerant, electrical, and control-system work. Our geothermal maintenance programs focus on the indoor heat pump and air-distribution components, including filters, refrigerant levels, electrical connections, and system operation.

Our service area includes Omaha, Council Bluffs, Bellevue, La Vista, Papillion, Ralston, Gretna, Blair, Plattsmouth, Fremont, and surrounding communities. Customers can reach us at (402) 513-1462 to discuss their heating and cooling needs.
