Comfort Flow Heating

We have been part of the Lane County business community since 1961, when Richard Schoolcraft founded Comfort Flow Heating. After more than 40 years under Richard’s leadership, the next generation—his son, Trieber Meador, and daughter, Michelle Quinney—took the reins. From our home in Springfield, we have served more than 50,000 homeowners and businesses throughout Oregon, building lasting relationships through attentive service, practical knowledge, and a commitment to treating projects of every size with care.

Today, our team includes more than 190 employees, supported by a fleet of over 120 vehicles. We provide residential and commercial heating, air conditioning, electrical, new-construction, and replacement services. Our commercial HVAC department handles work ranging from repairs on a single packaged air conditioner to large design-build projects. We also specialize in new medical facilities, residential retrofit and replacement applications, and service for major brands and models of residential and commercial equipment. Many of our employees hold NATE certifications, and ongoing in-house training helps our team stay current with new systems and technologies. Emergency service is available 24/7.

Our experience includes projects for organizations and properties such as the University of Oregon, Oregon State University, Jane Sanders Stadium, Good Samaritan Hospital, Springfield Country Club, Safeway, Walmart, Wildish Theatre, Café Yumm!, Jerry’s Home Improvement Center, PacificSource, and Hyatt at Oakway. Whatever the scope, we approach each job as the beginning of a long-term partnership rather than a one-time transaction. We value our customers’ time and believe knowledge is essential, so we help people understand the systems they purchase and feel comfortable using them for years to come.
