Climatemakers of VA

We’re a family-owned and operated heating and cooling contractor that has served Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, and the Hampton Roads community since 1953. For more than 70 years, we’ve focused on helping homeowners enjoy dependable indoor comfort through personalized service and practical solutions. Many of our customers are now second-generation customers, and we value the long-lasting relationships we’ve built with local families.

Our services cover residential heating, air conditioning, indoor air quality, thermostats, routine maintenance, emergency repairs, and high-efficiency system upgrades. We recognize that every home has different comfort needs, so we don’t rely on one-size-fits-all recommendations. Whether we’re completing a repair, helping you select a thermostat, or discussing a system upgrade, we work to find an option suited to your home, needs, and budget. We install Trane systems as a Trane Comfort Specialist, and we repair and service all brands of heating and cooling equipment. Our NATE-certified technicians receive ongoing training, and we perform an on-site audit for every installation as part of our quality-assurance process.

Great service is our mission. From our office personnel and comfort consultants to our service technicians, we believe in arriving when promised, taking pride in our work, giving every customer personal attention, and showing appreciation and respect. We emphasize energy efficiency and offer maintenance plans designed to keep systems operating efficiently while identifying potential problems before they become more serious. We also carry an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. Whether you need seasonal maintenance, a quick repair, an equipment upgrade, or knowledgeable advice, our goal is to provide attentive service and lasting home comfort.
