At CPH, our roots go back to 1971, when we began as a small family operation in Northern Michigan. Four generations of the Colvin family are now involved, combining decades of experience with new perspectives and modern technology. We live, work, and raise our families in the communities we serve, and we remain committed to treating every customer like family, communicating clearly, offering honest pricing, and doing work we are proud to put our name on.

Based in Hale, we provide heating, cooling, indoor air quality, plumbing, electrical, generator, and whole-home monitoring services for homeowners and businesses throughout Northern Michigan. Our heating and cooling work includes furnaces, central air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, ductless mini-splits, ductwork, thermostats, maintenance, repairs, and energy-efficient upgrades. We also install and service indoor air quality equipment, including humidifiers, dehumidifiers, media and electronic filters, air ionizers, purification systems, UV lights, and ERV and HRV ventilation systems.

Our plumbing services range from leak detection, drain cleaning, and pipe repair to water heaters, fixtures, sump pumps, repiping, and complete installations. For electrical needs, our licensed electricians handle panel upgrades, wiring, outlets, switches, lighting, circuit breakers, and safety inspections. We also install, maintain, and repair standby and portable generators, automatic transfer switches, and related equipment. Whole-home monitoring options help track HVAC performance, plumbing flow and leaks, and electrical loads while providing smart alerts and preventive maintenance recommendations.

We install and service equipment from Rheem, Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, and Generac. Our team has factory training and certification for Rheem systems, advanced Daikin training in ductless and high-efficiency equipment, and Generac dealer certification for generator installation and service. When urgent heating, plumbing, or electrical problems arise, we also offer round-the-clock emergency service.
