Burhenn & Gruenig Heating & AC

We have provided heating, cooling, and indoor air quality services since 1990, when Tim Burhenn and Dan Gruenig established Burhenn & Gruenig. Dan’s son, Thomas Gruenig, joined us in 1998 and took over ownership in 2010. Today, we remain a second-generation, small family operation committed to meeting the needs of our customers and contractors. We serve homes and businesses in Brandon, Sioux Falls, Tea, Harrisburg, and surrounding communities throughout southeastern South Dakota.

Our services include geothermal units, heat pumps, air conditioners, furnaces, indoor air quality solutions, and sheet metal work. We handle residential and commercial service and maintenance, and we work on all brands—including equipment we do not carry. Customers can schedule air conditioner and furnace checks to help keep their systems running smoothly. When equipment needs to be repaired or replaced, our professional staff is ready to help with integrity, timeliness, and fair pricing.

We use quality products and take pride in the skill of our employees. Because we can fabricate ductwork in our own shop, we are able to complete unique sheet metal projects and tailor ductwork to the job. This capability can help reduce air loss and support more efficient operation. We strive to be easy to work with while providing the comfort, air quality, and peace of mind our customers expect. For emergencies, we do our best to provide service at all hours of the day and on weekends, with an additional charge for after-hours work. We accept payment by check or credit card.
