We are a full-service mechanical contracting and engineering firm based in Reno, Nevada, serving customers throughout Northern Nevada, Lake Tahoe, and Northeastern California. We have worked in local mechanical engineering and contracting since September 2003, providing plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical services for commercial and residential projects. Our capabilities span new construction, design/build projects, remodels, system retrofits, and ongoing service.

Our leadership brings extensive technical and construction experience to every project. Chuck Brown has worked in the trade for more than three decades, with experience in project and business management, estimating, and project design. Co-owner Tyke Read is a registered professional engineer with experience across the wet and dry sides of the mechanical trade, as well as plumbing. He manages our engineering department and takes a hands-on approach to project management. Together, our team offers decades of combined experience.

We hold full C-1 Plumbing and Heating and C-21 Refrigeration and Air Conditioning licenses. Supported by our engineering department, these licenses allow us to serve as a single source for HVAC, mechanical, and plumbing needs. We design, install, and service air and hydronic systems, including air handlers, package rooftop units, furnaces, ductwork, boilers, steam heating, chillers, refrigeration equipment and piping, heating-hot-water and chilled-water piping, radiant heating, and ground-source heat pumps. We also work with energy-saving HVAC green technologies and retrofits.

Our plumbing work includes conventional and specialty systems such as solar hot-water heating, water softening and filtration, restaurant indirect-waste systems, and acid-waste systems. Our engineering department supports every phase of construction, from permit calculations through complete design/build projects. Using AutoCAD, we can prepare preliminary, permit, construction, and as-built drawings to help carry a project from its initial design through completion.
