Bolster-DeHart Inc

We have served homeowners across Greater Pittsburgh since 1977, helping them improve comfort and address home energy concerns with heating, cooling, insulation, and related upgrades. From our Wexford location, we serve Butler, Pittsburgh, Washington, and nearby communities. Our services include heating and air conditioning repair and replacement, furnace repair and replacement, duct sealing, insulation, and comprehensive home energy improvements.

We believe every home and every customer’s needs are different. One of our energy specialists can visit your home or business, evaluate the conditions affecting comfort or energy use, and develop a custom plan around your priorities. Our skilled, trained technicians guide you through each step and explain which improvements may make sense and in what order. As a member of the Dr. Energy Saver network, we have access to patented products and established techniques for improving home energy efficiency. Whether you are considering new insulation, an HVAC upgrade, or a broader plan, our goal is to help you make informed decisions and pursue meaningful improvements in comfort and energy performance.

Our president and owner, Chris Ryan, joined us as a service technician in 2002 and advanced through the roles of service manager and operations manager before becoming president and owner in 2016. He holds an Associate’s Degree in HVAC from the Dean Institute of Technology and is a certified Building Performance Institute Building Analyst. His training also includes National Comfort Institute air balancing, home performance, and combustion coursework. Chris continues to attend technical programs, business classes, and national conferences, sharing that commitment to learning with our team.

We are also grateful to the neighbors who have supported us. Through the Western Pennsylvania ACCA Community Service Day, we join the local ACCA and local gas companies in providing free furnace service. At Bolster-DeHart, our customers remain our top priority, and we bring a hardworking, attentive approach to every project.
