Boehmer Heating & Cooling

We’ve been helping Pittsburgh-area homeowners stay comfortable since William F. Boehmer founded Boehmer Heating & Cooling in 1933. Our work began with coal furnace repairs, stoker installations, and gas conversions. William’s sons—Herbert, William C., and David A.—built on that foundation by advancing service agreements, business management, customer satisfaction, and the use of computers in our operations. In 1994, third-generation family members David E. and Steve Boehmer assumed management, continuing our family tradition of HVAC service and expertise.

Today, our 32 co-workers serve the greater Pittsburgh region from our central Pittsburgh location. Our NATE-certified technicians provide heating, air-conditioning, and indoor-comfort services, including system installations, repairs, preventive maintenance, and maintenance plans. We service all makes and models and tailor our recommendations to each household’s comfort needs. Whether we’re repairing a furnace, installing an energy-efficient system, maintaining an air conditioner, or responding to an urgent cooling problem, our goal is to help customers create safer, healthier, more efficient, and more comfortable homes.

We remain actively involved in the HVAC field as a member of the Air Conditioning Contractors of Western Pennsylvania. We also serve on the advisory board of Rosedale Technical College, where we help support the training of future HVAC professionals. As our service area has expanded, we’ve welcomed customers formerly served by Rojohn Heating and Air Conditioning, M&G/Comfort Experts, and Economy Heating and Air Conditioning. Through every generation and every change in technology, we’ve continued the traditions established by our founders: practical expertise, strong customer relationships, and dependable attention to home comfort. We’re proud to serve Pittsburgh as its “Comfort Specialists.”
