Bobscashfuel

We serve customers from our Madison location at 424 Main Street and provide fuel delivery, equipment installation, system service, and on-site fueling options across Central Maine. We deliver propane, No. 2 fuel oil, kerosene, gasoline, and diesel. We also operate self-service gasoline and diesel pumps that are available around the clock, with space for larger trucks to turn around and refuel. Although we do not deliver natural gas, we install and service natural gas systems and are listed on Summit Natural Gas’s residential vendor list as a licensed HVAC technician for conversions.

We provide propane for uses such as home heating, cooking, hot water, and clothes drying. We offer automatic delivery, volume-based pricing considerations, and tank sizing based on appliance BTU requirements. We ask propane customers to call at least one day before a delivery is needed and publish scheduled propane delivery days for communities including Madison, Skowhegan, Waterville, Farmington, Bingham, Kingfield, and surrounding Central Maine areas. We also accept HEAP/LIHEAP funds and Citizens Energy assistance when available. At our Madison location, we recertify propane tanks ranging from 20 pounds to 419 pounds.

We installed a self-service LP AutoGas pump in 2014 and use propane in one of our own fuel trucks. We offer the station to individual vehicles and fleets and can discuss whether LP AutoGas is suitable for a customer’s operation. For home comfort systems, we install and service Mitsubishi Electric heat pumps as a Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Dealer, and our team is trained and certified to work with those systems. We also participate as an Efficiency Maine Qualified Partner. For customers planning heating-system upgrades or managing home-heating costs, we offer financing through Skowhegan Savings Bank, along with fuel prebuy and budget programs.
