Bartels Heating & Cooling

We’ve been helping homeowners and businesses stay comfortable in Hamilton, Ohio, and the surrounding areas since 1973. Thomas A. Bartels started Bartels Heating & Cooling as a single owner-operator, and we incorporated ten years later with Thomas as president. When Thomas retired in 1997, Edward W. Reid—part of our team since 1983—became president. Paul Reid, who first worked with us during summers as a teenager and joined us full time in 2004, took on the role in 2020. Today, our 17-person team continues that long tradition of providing quality sales, service, and installation for home comfort systems and light commercial equipment.

Our NATE-certified, factory-trained technicians work with a wide range of heating and cooling systems. We service furnaces, heat pumps, geothermal systems, radiant heaters, dual-fuel systems, garage heaters, air conditioners, thermostats, duct systems, and water heaters. We also offer indoor air quality solutions designed to support cleaner, more balanced air, along with commercial HVAC services that help businesses maintain comfortable spaces. As a Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer, we install and service Carrier products, and we can also service a variety of HVAC systems.

Our goal is to provide professional, quality service and genuine value by combining current technology, high-quality equipment, and skilled technicians. We believe the strength of our work also depends on giving our employees opportunities to develop their abilities in an atmosphere of cooperation and respect. Whether the need is a heating repair, an air conditioning service, a thermostat upgrade, a duct system replacement, or a complete installation, we focus on solutions tailored to each customer’s comfort needs.
