Automatic Heat Company

We have served Eugene, Springfield, and the surrounding region since 1947, when we began as a small family operation introducing automatic oil heating systems to Lane County. As heating and cooling technology changed, we expanded from oil heat to modern furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioning, indoor air quality equipment, and other high-efficiency systems. We remain locally owned and operated, with Brian Schkeryantz and Eric Petschauer continuing our longstanding connection to the Eugene community. Our service area extends from the Willamette Valley to Central Oregon.

We provide full-service heating and air conditioning for homes and businesses throughout Eugene and Springfield. Our services include furnace and heat pump installation, air conditioning service and repair, preventive maintenance plans, indoor air quality solutions, system upgrades, routine tune-ups, and complete system replacements. We work on boilers, furnaces, heat pumps, ductless systems, and other HVAC equipment. For new installations, we design each system around the needs of the home or building and install equipment from Mitsubishi, American Standard, and Daikin, along with Rheem and Goodman products.

We approach each job with clear communication, careful attention to the work, and respect for the home or business we enter. We invest in our team and focus on taking care of customers while building on the operation established in 1947. Our technicians are experienced across the equipment types we service, and we work to leave each property in better condition than we found it. We are licensed, bonded, and insured under CCB 257032. We back repair work with a two-year parts and labor warranty and provide a lifetime workmanship warranty for new equipment installations.
