Archibald Heating & Cooling

We are a family-owned and operated heating and air conditioning provider based in Kingston, New York. Our grandparents, William P. and Marvel Archibald, formed Archibald Heating and Air Conditioning in 1938. We began as a dealer for the Holland Furnace Co., guided by our grandfather’s belief in doing the right thing. Ownership passed to the second generation in 1959, when we were incorporated and became Lennox furnace dealers. Our third generation took ownership in 1989, and we added Carrier heating and cooling products in 1990. Today, our fourth generation is training to lead us into the future.

We bring a strong sense of pride and a courteous, professional approach to every project. Our services include complete system installations, repairs, replacements, annual HVAC maintenance, design-build and plan-and-spec work, fabrication, installation, and 24/7/365 emergency service. We design and install systems around each customer’s individual needs and budget while continually seeking energy-efficient products that support total home comfort. Our staff works to complete every job with quality and care in a timely manner.

We adhere to the standards established by equipment manufacturers so that installed systems can operate as intended. Proper design and installation are essential to energy efficiency, operating costs, equipment life, and future service needs. We also work with homeowners and businesses to select suitable geothermal loop designs, including open-loop systems that draw and discharge well water and closed-loop systems that recirculate fluid through buried piping. Whether we are installing a complete system, restoring existing equipment, or providing ongoing maintenance, our goal is to be the dependable heating and cooling resource our community can turn to.
