American Well & Pump, Inc

We are a family-owned well and pump business serving Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island from Dartmouth, Massachusetts. With more than 35 years of combined experience between Tom Leonard and Scott Harding, we bring practical knowledge to residential, commercial, municipal, and geothermal well-drilling projects. We drill 6-inch and 8-inch wells and use reliable equipment to keep each project focused on the agreed budget and timeline.

When you call American Well & Pump, you deal directly with our owners. Every project receives direct owner oversight from start to finish, with close attention to accurate work and the details that help a job proceed as planned. Our leadership team maintains critical qualifications, including a Hoisting Engineers License and Pipe Fusion Certification, and continues its education to stay current with technology and techniques in the drilling and pump field. In addition to drilling, we provide emergency services, respond to no-water calls, install and replace pumps, and replace tanks. We also offer financing and have packages available for bank financing.

Our slogan, “No Water is No Joke,” reflects how seriously we take the importance of dependable service to our customers. Beyond our day-to-day work, Tom and his wife, Dallas Leonard, who is also part of our leadership team, are committed to giving back to the community. Their support of Shriners and other organizations reflects the community-minded approach we aim to bring to our relationships with customers. Whether the need involves a new well, a pump or tank replacement, or help with a no-water situation, we bring our experience, equipment, and direct involvement to the work.
