American Heating and Cooling

We’ve served Eastern Kentucky from Pikeville since 2003, providing heating, cooling, electrical, indoor air quality, generator, geothermal, ductless mini-split, furnace, and commercial HVAC services. From our location on South Mayo Trail, we install, repair, maintain, and replace essential comfort systems for our neighbors throughout the area. Our priority is helping you, your family, and your HVAC needs with attentive service and a focus on quality.

Our roots reflect the experience and values of our founder, Kyle. While serving in the Navy, he attended Tidewater College and earned an associate degree in HVAC. After five years of regular enlistment, he spent another three years in the Naval Reserves in the Virginia Beach area while working in Trane’s commercial heating and cooling section. When he returned to Eastern Kentucky, he became Chief Engineer at ARH Whitesburg Hospital, managing the maintenance and engineering divisions for the hospital and area clinics while also assisting with transition phases at Jenkins Hospital. During his time with ARH, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Morehead State University.

After several years at ARH, Kyle established American Heating & Cooling with a dedication to customers, neighbors, and the wider community. We remain veteran-owned and operated, and we bring the military values of honor, courage, and commitment to our work every day. Our services include geothermal system installation, repair, maintenance, and replacement, as well as air purification solutions supported by relevant training and certification. Whether you need a repair service estimate or a replacement estimate, call us at (606) 437-0838.
