About Allgeier Air
At Allgeier Air, we bring more than 70 years of experience to helping Louisville homeowners stay safe and comfortable throughout the year. Our comfort designers work with gas furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, geothermal heating and cooling systems, and duct design. We also advise on and engineer HVAC designs for new construction projects. When trouble arises, our experienced technicians provide emergency repair services for air conditioning, heating, and geothermal systems.
We specialize in geothermal heating and cooling for both new construction and existing homes. A geothermal system combines a heat pump, an air-delivery system, and a ground heat exchanger made up of buried pipes. Depending on the property’s available land, groundwater, soil conditions, and surrounding rock, installation options may include horizontal, vertical, pond or lake, and well-water loops. Closed-loop systems are the most common, while open-loop systems require a suitable water source. As an approved WaterFurnace dealer and one of only two master dealers in the Louisville area, we can help homeowners explore whether geothermal technology is appropriate for their property.
Our services extend beyond heating and cooling. We provide HVAC sales, service, and installation, along with chimney sweeps, chimney inspections, and gas-log sales and service. Our well-trained, experienced, and fully licensed plumbing technicians handle needs ranging from routine maintenance to burst pipes with the same emphasis on honesty, integrity, safety, and comfort.
We are also dedicated to helping keep indoor air clean and healthy. Our services include HVAC inspections, electronic leak detection, carbon-monoxide detection, air-purification products, and 24-hour home air-quality testing followed by a report and recommendations tailored to the findings. For leaking ductwork, we offer Aeroseal duct sealing to locate and seal leaks throughout the duct system. Whether you need HVAC, geothermal, plumbing, chimney, or indoor-air-quality assistance, call us at (502) 968-0122 at the first sign of trouble.
