About Al Beyers Indoor Comfort Systems

Our roots reach back four generations and to the hard work and dedication that shaped our family business. Our story began when Al Beyers found work with L.C. Lenz Plumbing in Janesville after the Great Depression. At age 16 and with an eighth-grade education, he learned the fundamentals of the mechanical trade by digging ditches and completing odd jobs. Nineteen years later, Al and his wife, Roberta, purchased the heating division of L.C. Lenz Plumbing and established Al Beyers Heating in 1955.

We continued to grow and adapt over the following decades. We added a mobile shop in 1994 to improve productivity and efficiency for custom air-conditioning and furnace replacement installations, then moved into a newer facility with nearly 4,000 square feet of storage and office space in 1995. In 1996, we received Bryant Heating & Cooling Products’ highest award for best business practices—an honor earned by only 11 Bryant dealers nationwide that year. We opened an Edgerton office in 1997. In 1999, we purchased a Carrier dealership and Trieloff Mechanical Systems of Cambridge. That same year, the McCue brothers purchased our family business from their parents, and we added “Indoor Comfort Systems” to our name to better reflect our services.

Today, our 19-person staff works from two locations and serves South-Central Wisconsin. We are a state-licensed HVAC contractor with NATE-certified technicians, and we are certified in radon measurement and mitigation systems. Our indoor comfort solutions include boilers, ductless-split systems, electric heating products, fireplaces, stoves and inserts, forced-air furnaces, geothermal units, heat pumps, radiant heating products, room units, space heaters, and unit heaters.

We combine practical system design with modern technology, quality equipment and materials, professional installation, capable service, and customer-focused support. Because Wisconsin winters can be severe and heating equipment can fail at any hour, we offer 24/7 emergency service to help keep homes, families, and workplaces comfortable and warm. We would appreciate the opportunity to serve you.
