Air Doctorx

At Air Doctorx Heating & Air Conditioning, we bring more than three decades of HVAC experience to homes in Dover and throughout Delaware and Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Since 1989, we have focused on honest service, skilled workmanship, and customer care. Our certified technicians—not salespeople—meet with homeowners to understand what their homes actually need, whether the concern involves heating, cooling, indoor air quality, hot water, or geothermal comfort.

We install, service, repair, and replace a broad range of heating and cooling equipment, including air conditioners, furnaces, central air systems, heat pumps, gas and electric systems, and ducted or ductless mini splits. We also work with humidifiers, dehumidifiers, water heaters, air filters, carbon monoxide detectors, and geothermal heating systems. Our goal is to help make each home as comfortable as possible with solutions suited to its layout and existing equipment.

We do not rely on cookie-cutter instant quotes. After arranging a convenient appointment, one of our certified technicians assesses the home’s layout, ductwork, and load requirements. We then explain our recommendation clearly and provide a plan for approval. When it is time to install a new system, we work efficiently, respect the property, and check that the equipment is performing properly before we leave.

Geothermal has been part of our work since 1989. Our IGSHPA-certified team installs and services geothermal systems across Delaware and the Eastern Shore of Maryland. We offer a free site assessment that considers soil conditions, lot size, the current HVAC system, and the property’s suitability for geothermal. From there, we provide a detailed quote covering costs, the applicable federal tax credit amount, and potential energy savings. A geothermal heat pump may reduce heating and cooling bills by up to 70%, depending on the home and system. From our Hartly location, we are ready to help homeowners find a practical, carefully considered comfort solution.
