Advanced Air & Metal, Inc.

At Advanced Air & Metal, Inc., we’ve provided intelligent heating and air conditioning solutions to Medford and the greater Rogue Valley since 1994. Based in Central Point, we were founded by industry professionals Scott Friesen and Scott Rosendahl and are now owned and operated by Randal Lee. We’ve grown from a small residential service operation into a team of more than 40 professionals. Our six departments—Installation, Service and Repair, Engineering, Accounting, Sales and Marketing, and Management—work together to serve residential, commercial, and industrial heating and cooling needs.

Our work includes HVAC diagnostics, equipment repair, preventive maintenance, system replacement, and design-build installation. We install and service heat pumps, furnaces, air conditioners, ductless mini-split heat pumps, and geothermal systems. We’re also a factory-authorized installer of Bryant heating and cooling equipment. Over the past few decades, we’ve installed more than 10,000 systems spanning heat pumps, furnaces, air conditioners, and geothermal equipment. For replacement projects, we provide comprehensive analysis and free estimates. We also design and install large-scale commercial systems, including multimillion-dollar design-build projects, and offer customized commercial maintenance plans.

Geothermal work is an important part of our experience. We assess each property to determine whether a vertical or horizontal ground-loop layout is appropriate, take measurements inside the building, and plan for proper air circulation. We also diagnose and repair geothermal systems, including equipment we didn’t install. During preventive maintenance, we inspect electrical connections, internal components, refrigerant levels, heat exchangers, blowers, filters, and, when needed, air ducts. We can also help locate underground loop leaks using earth-safe dye so excavation can be focused on the affected area.

We credit our growth to the quality and tenure of our team and to customers who have referred us to friends and neighbors. We’re also active in Southern Oregon, supporting nonprofit organizations, local clubs, athletic teams, schools, and churches with our time and resources.
