Adam's Well Drilling & Water Treatment

We are a family-owned and operated well drilling and water treatment team based in Howell, Michigan. Since 1969, we have served families and properties throughout southeast Michigan and surrounding communities. Our roots reach back to Leo Adams, a respected handyman, builder, and excavator who spent his working life in Livingston County. When local well expert Fred Stienacker recognized the community’s need for another well driller, he approached Leo. Leo and his sons, Mark and Dan, then launched Leo Adams Well Drilling.

After Leo retired in February 1986, Mark, Dan, and their wives came together to form Adams Well Drilling. We purchased our first rotary rig, and our operation soon tripled in size. Today, our family tradition spans three generations. Mark, Karen, and Debi Adams can often be found in the office, while Leo’s grandsons—Greg, Ryan, Brody, and Brian—remain integral members of our workforce alongside our valued employees.

We strive to be a one-stop shop for high-quality well drilling and water treatment services. Our skilled technicians bring extensive working knowledge to every job, and we pair our services with durable components. We install well systems for residential, commercial, and industrial properties. Our work can also involve drilling multiple geoloops for a home and using specialized grout to improve thermal conductivity, helping water absorb heat from the ground before it reaches the house.
