A-1 Tops Services

Since 1985, we have provided heating, cooling, and refrigeration services throughout West Houston, including Piney Point Village, Meadows Place, West University Place, and Bellaire. Our work is guided by a dedication to customer satisfaction and a commitment to honesty, education, certification, and high ethical standards. Our owner and master technician, Greg Berens, has earned multiple professional licenses and memberships in HVAC and refrigeration. He approaches each job with precision, accuracy, and thorough attention to detail, always striving to help customers receive the system or service they want.

We offer air conditioning, heating, refrigeration, and geothermal heat pump services. Geothermal systems use energy found below the ground’s surface to help keep a home comfortable throughout the year. We can explain how a new geothermal heat pump may support cleaner, more sustainable heating and cooling while potentially reducing energy costs.

Whether you are remodeling, building a new home, or replacing an existing heating system, we provide reliable and efficient home-comfort solutions. We also perform heater repairs, service, and preventive maintenance intended to keep equipment operating at peak performance, reduce problems, and support a longer service life. Before making a heating recommendation, we use modern inspection tools to look for damage. Our heat-exchanger inspection equipment includes a high-resolution infrared camera mounted on a 37-inch wand, allowing us and our customers to see fine cracks, holes, rust, and corrosion that may not be visible to the human eye.

At A-1 Tops Services, we believe professional service means going the extra mile and giving every job our full attention. For heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, or geothermal service, call us at (713) 783-2665.
