128 Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electric

At 128 Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electric, we help Massachusetts homeowners keep their homes comfortable, safe, and efficient throughout the year. Based in Wakefield, we serve the North Shore, Greater Boston, Merrimack Valley, and South MetroWest. Our roots go back to 1992, and we bring decades of home-service experience to installation, repair, maintenance, and energy-efficient upgrades. We combine technical expertise with personalized service.

Massachusetts weather places serious demands on heating and cooling equipment. We install, repair, service, and maintain furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, hot water heaters, central air-conditioning systems, and ductless mini-splits. We can also assist with oil-to-gas conversions, programmable thermostats, and energy-efficient control technology. When a heating problem leaves a home without adequate warmth, we send an experienced technician to diagnose the issue. During hot, humid summers, we work to keep cooling systems operating reliably and indoor temperatures comfortable. Our HVAC services also include air purification, ventilation, and humidity control to support healthier indoor air.

Our plumbing work includes drain diagnosis, drain clearing, and drain repair. Rather than addressing only the immediate symptom, we focus on identifying the source of the drain problem. We also welcome questions from homeowners who want to conserve energy or better understand how efficient equipment and controls may help manage energy costs. In 2025, we became an approved Certified Evergreen® company. This status reflects our decision to remain privately and independently owned by our founder rather than sell to a private-equity firm. By staying independent, we remain purpose-driven and people-focused.
